Mite, Squirt & PeeWee Tryouts

(Birth Years 2009 and below)

Travel team tryouts will be held from April 19th to April 22nd at CURE Arena, 81 Hamilton Ave, Trenton, NJ 08611.

If a player is unable to attend one of the tryout dates, please notify the LNHA board prior to tryouts.

* We anticipate having more than 40 skaters and 6 goalies tryout (max on-ice capacity) at the 12U level. As a result there will be two 12U sessions running through the week.  If your player is interested in trying out for the AA team (highest of the 4 levels that we plan to field) then your player should register and attend the first session on that Monday.  On Tuesday, those 12U players who did not register for the AA tryout will have their first tryout skate at 7:15pm instead.

So long as the headcount is not skewed largely toward a particular session, your player can anticipate staying with that same group for the Wed and Thurs ice as well.  If needed, we may suggest that a handful of 12U players move to the other group to balance it out.  This is only an effort to split the group up for smaller numbers. So regardless of when your players skates, your player will evaluated and placed accordingly after the tryout.  For instance, if your player attends the AA tryout session but is not selected for the AA team, your player would still be placed at the appropriate level afterward and there would not be a follow-up tryout after the week of 4/19.

** After the first night, we will be splitting the 10U players into two groups. Players will report to the appropriate session for their group for the remainder of the Tryouts. We have made this change due to the number of players interested in tryouts.
